DETROIT (AP) - A man has been slain and another wounded following a shootout in Detroit over a bet made on a game they were playing.

Police said the men - ages 41 and 43 - fired shots at each other early Wednesday morning during an argument after the younger man won the bet, according to The Detroit News.

The 41-year-old man died at the scene. The other man drove himself to an area hospital.



It was not immediately clear what game the two men were playing and had bet on.
