SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) - Speed and the failure to wear seat belts appear to have contributed to a deadly crash on Interstate 89 in South Burlington in which two Vermonters were killed over the weekend, state police said.
Police said the single-vehicle crash happened on Saturday morning and killed Theodore Bowen, 32, of Essex Junction, and passenger Mechelle Martin, 45, of Colchester.
