OPINION:
After much reflection, I have hit upon a perfect way to prove that the U.S. is a racist country.
President Biden should fund a committee (let’s call it the 2021 Project) whose task would be to compare America’s record with other countries around the world when it comes to the participation of ethnic and racial minorities in public and private careers, professions and callings of significance. These include national, regional and local executive, legislative and judicial branches of government; the military; law enforcement; public and private education; the media, both print and broadcast; the clergy; domestic corporations and others.
For example, the U.S. elected a racial minority president. The committee would identify the other countries in which a person from a racial or ethnic minority became the president, prime minister or other chief executive. The U.S. has a number of racial or ethnic minorities in legislatures at all levels. The committee would identify the minorities in the legislatures of other countries.
When the committee submits its report, ignore the areas in which America’s record is better while focusing on those that are worse. If there are few or none, explain by stating that the numbers are the result of right-thinking, minority American citizens who pretend to be white in order to succeed. Alternatively have Vice President Harris smile and giggle at the idea that she or anyone should actually read or pay attention to such ridiculous conclusions, as they must have come from the evil influence of former President Trump.
