ST. LOUIS (AP) - Two men have been charged in the Christmas Eve double shooting in St. Louis’ Carondelet neighborhood that left one man dead and another injured, authorities said.

Ronald Fisher, 41, and Vada Cunningham, 58, both of St. Louis, have been arrested in the shooting at an apartment complex that killed Michael Hunter and injured another person, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported.

Fisher is charged with first-degree murder, armed criminal action, assault and unlawful possession of a firearm. Cunningham is charged with assault, armed criminal action and unlawful possession of a firearm.

Prosecutors have said Hunter and the other victim went to the complex where Fisher and Cunningham both lived to buy drugs from the suspects and were shot during an argument.

Court records show Fisher previously served prison time for drugs offenses and assault, while Cunningham was convicted in 2002 of second-degree murder.
