SEDALIA, Mo. (AP) - A 4-year-old Sedalia boy died after he accidentally shot himself at his family’s home, police said.
The child, Andre Walker, died after being taken to a hospital Sunday night by his father, police said.
The boy’s parents told police he found a loaded handgun inside the home and accidentally shot himself. He was alive when he arrived at the hospital but later died, The Sedalia Democrat reported.
Several other people, including two children, were in the home when the shooting occurred, police Commander David Woolery said.
The investigation continues but no foul play is suspected, police said.
