In the seventh paragraph of “In-betweenland: As 2020 slips away, an American snapshot” (Web, Dec. 28) Ted Anthony writes that President Trump “persists in his evidence-free insistence that he won the election.” I am appalled by this Associated Press writer’s irresponsible conclusion.

What does he consider 1,000-plus affidavits by eyewitnesses who affirm on oath that they saw disturbing and massive poll irregularities? Or security video of Democratic poll workers counting ballots three times after observers have left? What about the fact that five states — Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan, Wisconsin and Arizona — violated the Constitution, Article II, Section 1, Clause 2, which empowers the state legislatures and only the state legislatures (not mayors, governors or courts) to determine election law for each state?

If even a fraction of the 93 instances of massive fraud described by Front Page Magazine contributor John Perazzo in his article, “Yes, It Was a Stolen Election” or by talented reporter Sharyl Attkisson are true, the 2020 presidential election was a travesty of the electoral process.

As a U.S. citizen, I fear for our democracy where supposedly responsible journalists such as Ted Anthony can, without researching any of the serious allegations of voter fraud, declare there is no evidence of such fraud.

Shame on Ted Anthony. And shame on The Washington Times for running his piece. You have become another example of journalistic irresponsibility, like The New York Times, The Washington Post and or The Los Angeles Times.

I am deeply disappointed.
