DETROIT (AP) - A 62-year-old man has been mauled by a pack of dogs on Detroit’s westside.
The four dogs left a yard through a gate about 9:30 a.m. Friday and attacked the man who was walking nearby, police said.
Another person in the area began hitting the dogs with an object. The dogs returned to their yard and the second person secured the gate.
The injured man was bitten on his legs, shoulder and one of his ears. He was in temporary serious condition at a hospital.
Officers were not immediately able to contact the owner of the dogs, according to police.
