Small earthquake reported in south Mississippi

COLLINS, Miss. (AP) - A 2.1 magnitude earthquake occurred Wednesday morning in south Mississippi.

The Mississippi Emergency Management Agency posted on Twitter that the earthquake happened near Collins around 7:33 a.m..

So far, no issues, damage or injuries had been reported to MEMA.

Collins is about 26 miles (41.8 kilometers) northwest of Hattiesburg.
