HENDERSON, Nev. (AP) - A 35-year-old man shot and wounded by another driver after a two-car collision in Henderson on Jan. 1 has died, police said Saturday.

The man died Friday, two weeks after the collision in which his silver Ford Fusion was rear-ended by a dark-colored Nissan car, police said.

After the collision, the two cars pulled over to exchange information and the Nissan’s driver became irate and “acted as if a physical confrontation was imminent” before he pulled out a handgun and shot the other driver, police said.

The shooter drove off before police arrived and witnesses were unable to provide a description of the suspect, police said.

The dead man’s identity wasn’t released.
