HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) - A woman was struck and killed in a hit-and-run in Hartford late Friday night and city police are looking for a dark-colored sport utility vehicle, authorities said.

Officers found Kedine Campbell, 32, lying unresponsive on Albany Avenue. She was later pronounced dead at a hospital.

Police said surveillance video shows an SUV traveling westbound striking Campbell and leaving the scene. Campbell was on the westbound side of the street when she was hit.

Authorities said excessive speed did not appear to be a factor.

Police are asking people to come forward with any information about the hit-and-run.
