PAWTUCKET, R.I. (AP) - A 20-year-old man was shot to death in Pawtucket early Thursday morning, police said.
Police officers and firefighters responding to a Benefit Street address at around 1:15 a.m. found the man inside a vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound, police said in a statement.
He was taken to Rhode Island Hospital in Providence were he was pronounced dead, police said.
The shooting is being investigated as a homicide.
No additional information, including the victim’s name, was made public.
The shooting remains under investigation and there was no word an any arrests.
