HOLLYWOOD, S.C. (AP) - Authorities say a house fire has claimed the life of a woman in Hollywood, South Carolina.
The blaze broke out early Friday morning at the two-story home, WCIV-TV reported.
Two dogs and one cat also died in the fire, St. Paul’s Fire Chief Larry Garvin said. One dog survived. Five other people in the home got out safely, Garvin said.
The State Law Enforcement Division will look into the case, which is typical when a fire results in a death.
Few other details were immediately released.
