ORANGEBURG, S.C. (AP) - A fire at a portable toilet business in South Carolina destroyed up to 130 of the mobile bathrooms, authorities said.

The blaze Monday night at B&B Porta-Jons was labeled “suspicious,” according to an Orangeburg Department of Public Safety fire report.

The owner said no electricity runs to the part of the property where the portable toilets were stored, The Times & Democrat reported.



Firefighters responded to the blaze just before 9 p.m. and were able to extinguish it in less than two hours, authorities said. No injuries were reported.

The losses were estimated at about $84,000, the fire report stated.

No additional information was released and a cause of the fire was not immediately given.
