OPINION:
Conservative journalists can write about the wrongs committed by the political left and the Democratic Party until the cows come home, and very little will change. Journalists need to continuously use their platform to explain to the average conservative voter that he or she should be outraged over being treated as a second-class citizen. Such voters should be encouraged to behave as their forefathers did — with dignity and righteous anger, and as stalwarts of freedom.
Too many conservative voters prefer to indulge themselves within their own private and personal lives. They are very successful at drowning out the things to be feared and burying themselves within their working days and leisure time, which merges into weeks, months and then years.
Ignorance is bliss. It belies the struggles and protects the individual from the crosses of everyday life. Many conservatives have forgotten the nobility and importance of character: becoming angry when downtrodden and having constitutional rights taken away.
Conservative journalists need to convey the whole truth. This means not just the details and the wrongs being committed, but the consequence of ignoring the truth and the relevance and meaning of that truth.
