OPINION:
What the world is witnessing is the fall of the greatest, most blessed country in history. One of America’s greatest presidents warned of our demise. Abraham Lincoln said, “America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves.” What an important message for America today.
We have a president who has abandoned hundreds of Americans, trapping them in Afghanistan. These civilians are now on their own, fighting for their freedom and probably their very lives. There are thousands of Afghan green-card holders — people who helped us in our war on terror — who were left behind as well. President Biden owns this disgrace. He is responsible for the worst self-inflicted foreign policy disaster in U.S. history and must resign immediately.
In contrast to Biden, we have 13 honorable service members who were killed performing their duty to secure the safety and freedom of others. I thank these service members, who are true heroes.
Biden has been a disaster for America from his very first day in office. If his, Harris, Pelosi and Schumer’s goal was to destroy America they could not have done a better job. Our southern border is wide open, letting in thousands of illegal aliens in daily. Who knows how many terrorists, drug smugglers and criminals have snuck in? Furthermore, Biden and the left have spent the past 16 months stoking the flames of racial divisiveness for political gain. It was Joe Biden who said our country’s biggest threat was white supremacy; he was the one who used hyper-charged rhetoric to divide us.
As I watch the real-time destruction of America, it infuriates me. My fellow Americans, this is not about politics. This is about Americans who love this county standing up to save it.
