NEW YORK (AP) - A man was killed Thursday night in Queens when a vehicle collided with the scooter he was operating before crashing into a restaurant’s outdoor seating booth, police said.

A 60-year-old woman was driving the vehicle at about 8 p.m. when it collided with the scooter, police said.

Xing Long Lin, 37, of Queens, was pronounced dead at the scene.



A 32-year-old woman received minor injuries from debris after the vehicle crashed into the dining area of the Rosatoro restaurant on Ditmars Boulevard, police said.

The driver stayed at the scene after the crash. No arrests have been made.
