Emergency responders say woman died in apartment fire

MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) - A woman died in an apartment fire in Manchester, New Hampshire, firefighters said Monday.

Firefighters were called to the fire at about 1:30 a.m. They found a woman in the apartment and removed her through a window.

Emergency responders said she died in the fire; an autopsy is planned.

The woman’s name has not been released.

The New Hampshire State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the fire.
