SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - A man accused of killing two people in Rapid City last month has been arrested in New York City, the Rapid City Police Department announced on Friday.

Arnson Absolu, who is of 36 years old, is currently being held in a New York jail and awaiting extradition to South Dakota. He is from the Bronx, a borough in New York City.

Police were called to a disturbance on Aug. 24 in Rapid City. They found a parked vehicle with two people inside dead from multiple gunshot wounds. Police said that Charles Red Willow and Ashley Nagy were killed.



Police are continuing to investigate the shooting. Police departments in three states and several federal agencies joined the investigation.
