TOPEKA, Kan. (AP) - Local and federal law enforcement authorities recovered 26 firearms while executing a search warrant at a Topeka house, police said Friday.

Topeka police said in a news release that Rodolfo V. Arzate, 42, of Topeka was taken into custody Thursday. He was booked on suspicion of criminal possession of a firearm, interference with a law enforcement officer and Topeka bench warrants.

The arrest came after a joint investigation between the Topeka Police Department and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
