ST. LOUIS (AP) - Several residents of an apartment building near downtown St. Louis have been displaced after a fire tore through the structure.

No one was injured in the fire at the three-story apartment building south of downtown, but the building appeared to be a total loss.

The fire was reported around 5:30 a.m. Friday. Authorities say the building’s residents 20 residents, including six children, all got out safely.



The cause of the fire is under investigation.
