LETTERS TO THE EDITOR: Officials ignore voting problems

OPINION:

With about six weeks remaining before a presidential election, we have seen examples of completed early ballots found on the roadside and several examples of voting lists being inaccurate (voters who have moved, died, etc.). We have 535 national officials and probably thousands of state and local officials aware of this, yet we continue to forge ahead toward a preventable disaster.

I’m 75, and I am disgusted by the lax/uncaring attutide of these officials. We have forgotten (or no longer care) about the importance of votes in America.
