Man dies after being shot at a house party in Maryvale area

PHOENIX (AP) - A man is dead after a shooting at a house party in the Maryvale area of Phoenix, according to authorities.

Police said officers responded about 3:45 a.m. Sunday to reports of a shooting at a home which was the site of a large party.

The man who was shot was taken to a hospital, where he died.

Police on Monday identified the victim as 19-year-old Andres Franco and said don’t have a viable suspect description yet.
