LANDOVER — Washington will be without its top left tackle for Sunday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys as Geron Christian will miss the contest with a knee injury.

Cornelius Lucas, a seven-year veteran who was signed in March, will start in Christian’s place. Christian, 24, missed practice Thursday and Friday and was listed as questionable ahead of Sunday’s contest. Last week, coach Ron Rivera said Christian’s knee “was a little sore.”

Lucas, 29, has not played an offensive snap this season. He started eight games last year for the Chicago Bears.

Here’s the full list of inactives for Sunday:

Tackle Geron Christian (knee)

Wide receiver Isaiah Wright (shoulder)

Quarterback Dwayne Haskins

Defensive end Casey Toohill

Defensive end James Smith-Williams (concussion)

On Saturday, the team moved wideout Antonio Gandy-Golden (hamstring) and guard Saahdiq Charles (knee) to injured reserve. The team also signed wideout Tony Brown from the practice squad to the active roster.
