BELLEVUE, Neb. (AP) - Police are investigating the fatal shooting of a teenager in Bellevue just south of Omaha.

The shooting happened Monday afternoon at a home along West 31st Avenue, the Bellevue Police Department said. A caller to 911 reported the shooting and said that CPR was being performed on the 17-year-old male victim.

Arriving officers found the teen with a gunshot wound and unresponsive. He was declared dead at the scene. His name had not been released by Tuesday morning, and no arrests had been reported.



Police have asked anyone with information on the shooting to contact Sarpy County Crime Stoppers.
