BOSTON (AP) - A juvenile who is involved in a program run by a Boston organization for at-risk youth was taken to the hospital early Monday morning with stab wounds not considered life threatening, police said.
The victim called the Mission Hill facility of The Home for Little Wanderers at about 2 a.m. and told a staff member that they had been stabbed, police said.
The staff member notified police and the victim was taken to a city hospital.
No additional information about the victim was released.
Exactly where the stabbing took place and the motive remain under investigation, police said. No arrests were announced.
The Home for Little Wanderers is a nonprofit that provides support and programming for children and adults from birth up to age 22, according to its website.
Representatives could not be reached for comment.
