ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - A 21-year-old man pleaded guilty in federal court Thursday to threatening to attack the Troy police department with bricks during a series of Facebook Live recordings, according to prosecutors.

In pleading guilty, Jhajuan Sabb admitted to making the recordings on June 5, two days before a large demonstration against police brutality and racism in Troy.

Shirtless and smoking in the recordings, Sabb said “we’re gonna brick City Hall and we gonna brick the police station … and all the cop cars,” and he described how to make incendiary devices with bottles, according to the federal complaint.

The Troy resident faces up to five years in prison when he is sentenced March 3. He has been in custody since June 6, the day after recording the videos.
