JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) - Four people are injured after a shooting in Jefferson City.
The Jefferson City News Tribune reports that officers were called just before 4:30 p.m. Wednesday to a report of shots fired into a vehicle near The Linc, a recreation center at Lincoln University.
Officers found two victims on the parking lot with gunshot wounds. Both were taken to a hospital.
While still at the scene, officers were told that two other gunshot victims had driven themselves to the hospital.
Three of the four victims were later transferred to the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia. Details about the conditions of the victims were not released. One person was released from the hospital Thursday.
No arrests have been made and police say it’s too early to determine a motive in the shooting.
