A woman in Maine was killed when a vehicle she was driving crossed a center line and struck a pickup truck head-on, the Maine State Police said Monday.
The crash killed Ami Norton, 51, of Gouldsboro, on Wednesday. Police said the crash happened on Route One in Township 7, which is near Gouldsboro in Downeast Maine.
Police said the operator of the pickup truck was transported to a hospital for injuries that were not life-threatening. Norton was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
