PLYMOUTH, N.H. (AP) - Plymouth State University is offering an accelerated program to allow students majoring in communication and media studies to earn a bachelor’s degree and a master of business administration degree in four years.

Officials say the new “3+1” program will enable students to gain a wide variety of skills to prepare them for fast-paced and competitive industries.

Students who complete 90 credits while maintaining a 3.0 grade point average can apply to participate in the MBA portion of the program. Those who are accepted can enroll in two graduate-level business classes during their third year that will count toward both their bachelor’s degrees and master’s degrees.
