PHOENIX (AP) - The 19-year-old man who died after a car crash involving a minivan in Phoenix has been identified, according to police.

They said Joseph Robles-Romero allegedly was driving his car at a high rate of speed Saturday afternoon when it collided with the minivan carrying five people, including three children.

Police said Robles-Romero’s car then collided with a brick wall and a palm tree, crushing the passenger’s side of the car.



He was pronounced dead at the scene by Phoenix Fire Department personnel.

Police said the driver of the minivan and her four passengers escaped injury and she showed no signs of impairment.
