MANDAN, N.D. (AP) - Police have made an arrest in the death of a man who was struck and killed standing next to his parked vehicle in Mandan Tuesday morning, according to officials.

The 42-year-old victim from Bismarck was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver who struck the man is a 19-year-old Mandan man.

Police say the driver is in the Burleigh Morton Detention Center on a probable charge of criminal vehicular homicide,



The North Dakota Highway Patrol assisted the Mandan Police Department with the investigation.
