MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) - A man who was teaching his son to drive reported he was assaulted with a baseball bat in a road rage incident, police in New Hampshire said.

The man said he was in his car with his son on Monday in Manchester when another car cut them off. The son, who was driving, beeped the horn.

Police said at that point, the person in the passenger seat of the other car started waving a baseball bat out of the window. The two cars eventually were side by side. The passenger reportedly got out, questioned the beep, and struck the father twice with the bat, police said. The car drove away.

Police are looking for the vehicle and passenger.
