NEWARK, N.J. (AP) - A street shooting in New Jersey’s largest city has left three people wounded, authorities said.
Newark police officers responding to reports of shots fired around 8 p.m. Thursday found the victims in the 100 block of Scheerer Avenue. All three were taken to a hospital and treated for wounds that were not considered life-threatening.
All three were in stable condition on Friday. Their names and further details on their injuries have not been released.
A motive for the shooting remains under investigation. No arrests have been made.
