Motorcycle rider killed in crash in Weld, Maine

WELD, Maine (AP) - A motorcyclist was killed in a crash in the town of Weld, law enforcement officials said.

Thomas Owens, 56, of Weld, died Wednesday morning after the crash, said Stephen McCausland, spokesman for the Maine Department of Public Safety.

Franklin County Sheriff’s deputies responded, and Maine State Police were investigating.
