ST. LOUIS (AP) - Four people have been killed and several others injured in a violent Memorial Day weekend in St. Louis that involved more than a dozen shootings, police said.

The victims included Malik Valley, who was just 15. He was shot in the chest Saturday night and taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to St. Louis Police Department reports.

About an hour earlier, in a separate shooting, 36-year-old Robert Cannon was found dead inside a home.

On Sunday, police received reports of shots fired and an accident at the same location. Officers found an unidentified man believed to be in his 50s inside a vehicle that had struck a pole. Officers then determined the man had been shot. He was pronounced dead at a hospital.

Also Sunday, Jaymes Jackson, 21, was killed and a 22-year-old man was left critically wounded in a shooting. Police were called about a “large crowd,” followed by another call about a shooting, and found the victims.

No arrests have been made in any of the killings.

Four people were shot and wounded just after 1 a.m. Sunday, and three more were shot about 40 minutes later in a car.

In another shooting on Saturday, a 14-year-old girl and 18-year-old male were hurt when they were shot by a 17-year-old acquaintance.
