FALL RIVER, Mass. (AP) - Two victims of a fatal car crash in Massachusetts have been identified as Fall River residents, according to state officials.

The victims were identified as Dinasalia Medeiros, 74, and Chantel Gould, 29, the Herald News reported, citing a spokesman for District Attorney Thomas M. Quinn.

Preliminary reports indicate that Medeiros lost control of an Acura 3.2TL while driving north on Second Street in Fall River on Tuesday. Gould was the front seat passenger in the vehicle.



The two rear passengers, a 23-year-old Fall River woman and her 18-month-old son, were transported to Rhode Island Hospital and Hasbro Children’s Hospital respectively and are in stable condition.

The vehicle hit a local consignment shop, however, there were no additional injuries reported.
