JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) - A person pulled out of a burning house in central Missouri has died, authorities said Friday.
The Jefferson City Fire Department said the occupant of the home had sustained injuries from a Monday fire that appears to have started in the living room area near or on furniture. The occupant was found in the bedroom unresponsive.
The department did not release the person’s name.
