In a story published on Feb. 25, 2020, about a shooting during Mardi Gras in Mobile, Alabama, The Associated Press incorrectly reported the location of a woman who was wounded. Police said Valerie Reed was inside a rental truck, not on a Mardi Gras float, when she was injured.
