Body found in shallow grave near Reedy River in South Carolina

GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) - An autopsy has been scheduled after a body was found in a shallow grave near a South Carolina river, authorities said.

Greenville County Sheriff’s Office investigators found a woman’s body around 3 p.m. Tuesday. The grave was in a field near Reedy River, The Greenville News reported.

Coroner B. Parks Evans, Jr. said a autopsy would be performed Wednesday to help determine a cause of death and identity.
