Four-time Tony Award-winning playwright Terrence McNally died Tuesday of complications due to coronavirus, according to reports. He was 81.
Mr. McNally died at Sarasota Memorial Hospital in Sarasota, Florida, Deadline reported.
He was reportedly a lung cancer survivor with COPD, a chronic inflammatory lung disease.
Mr. McNally is survived by his husband of 10 years, Tom Kirdahy, TheWrap reported.
