LANTANA, Fla. (AP) - Two people escaped injury Tuesday afternoon when a small plane skidded off the end of a runway at a Florida airport, authorities said.
The four-seat Cessna 172-S went at least partly into a pond at the Palm Beach County Park Airport in Lantana, the Palm Beach Post reported.
Palm Beach County Fire-Rescue paramedics evaluated the two people aboard and stopped a small fuel leak.
Federal Aviation Administration records show the plane is registered to Palm Beach Flight Training.
The FAA is investigating the crash.
