JERSEY CITY, N.J. (AP) - Authorities in New Jersey say early morning gunfire in Jersey City killed one man and wounded four others.
The Hudson County prosecutor’s office and city police said officers responded at about 12:20 a.m. Saturday to a report of gunshots and found multiple shooting victims at the scene.
Police and prosecutors said 34-year-old Scott Colclough of Jersey City was taken to Jersey City Medical Center with multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead within minutes.
Four other men found with gunshot wounds were taken to the hospital and treated for their injuries.
Authorities said no arrests were immediately made and anyone with information was asked to call investigators.
