BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) - Officials have released the name of a man who died when a freight train hit the semi-truck he was driving at a crossing in northeastern Montana.

Ashton Gillming, 24, of Sidney died in the collision Tuesday morning near Brockton, Montana Highway Patrol Trooper T’Elle Evans told The Billings Gazette.

Officials say Gillming was working as a hired hand for a local family.
