MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) - A vehicle crashed into a house and stopped inches away from a woman who was watching television in her living room, police in New Hampshire said.

The driver, identified as a 29-year-old woman, and the resident suffered minor injuries Thursday night and were taken to a hospital, Manchester police said.

The vehicle swerved off the road and struck a utility pole, snapping it in half. It then continued across the lawn of the house before crashing through the side, police said.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
