WEST GREENWICH, R.I. (AP) - A Coventry man died in a fiery single-car crash on Interstate 95 in West Greenwich early Wednesday, Rhode Island State Police said.

Kenneth Norberg, 55, was traveling south just after midnight Wednesday when his vehicle left the roadway, rolled over several times and caught on fire.

Norberg was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

The crash remains under investigation, but police said the preliminary investigation indicates that excessive speed appears to be a factor.
