President Trump said in an interview that aired Sunday he would “have to see” whether he’ll accept the election results in November.

“I have to see,” Mr. Trump told Fox News’ Chris Wallace. “I’m not going to just say yes. I’m not going to say no. And I didn’t last time, either.”

The president said he’s “not a good loser” and that he thinks mail-in voting is going to “rig” the election.

A number of states have expanded opportunities for vote-by-mail and absentee voting given the coronavirus pandemic.

Mr. Trump gave a similar answer in 2016 on whether he would accept the election results.

Both the White House and Mr. Trump’s campaign had pushed back strongly earlier this year after presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joseph R. Biden and other Democrats had speculated about what might happen if Mr. Trump lost but refused to leave the White House.

“President Trump has been clear that he will accept the results of the 2020 election,” Trump campaign spokesman Tim Murtaugh said last month.
