RENO, Nev. (AP) - Two men convicted of first-degree murder in the fatal shooting of a man in a Galena neighborhood south of Reno 18 months ago have been sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole.

Quentin Moore also was convicted in October of battery with a deadly weapon and challenging someone to fight in the June 2018 death of Paul Dobbins.

Jamil Geronimo also was convicted of battery with a deadly weapon, assault with a deadly weapon, discharging a firearm from a vehicle and discharging a firearm in a building.

KOLO-TV reports they were sentenced in Washoe District Court late Wednesday after a third defendant - Tyler Hernandez- was sentenced to four years in prison for involuntary manslaughter.

Police say the murder culminated a series of incidents that included a shooting at a California Avenue bar on the south edge of downtown Reno where two bystanders received minor injuries.
