FARGO, N.D. (AP) - Icy weather caused problems Friday with electrical transmission lines in parts of eastern North Dakota.

According to KFGO Radio, Cass County Electric Co-op said customers in the Valley City and Fort Ransom areas were reporting outages due to ice and frost build-up on power lines. Some of the power lines were hanging as low as 5 feet off the ground.

The co-op said its crews were working to remove the ice and frost.

Similar conditions were reported by Minn-Kota Power Co-op.
