PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Authorities have located a vehicle involved in a fatal hit-and-run accident in north Philadelphia, but investigators are still trying to identify the driver, police said.
A 37-year-old man was struck as he was crossing North Broad Street in the Logan neighborhood at about 12:32 a.m. Saturday, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene. His name wasn’t immediately released. The vehicle fled the scene heading north, police said.
Police said Saturday night that the vehicle - a black sedan with heavy front-end damage and a broken windshield - had been located and impounded. Authorities said the investigation continues.
