MANCHESTER, Conn. (AP) - A pedestrian struck by a vehicle in Manchester has died, police say.
The man was struck just before noon on Wednesday, Manchester police said in a statement.
The victim was treated at the scene before he was taken to Hartford Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police have not made a positive identification of the man but say he appears to be in 30s or 40s.
The man driving the vehicle that struck him stayed at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.
The death is under investigation.
